![]() That means each friend you hit with it would each be gaining 16 hp. It gets even better when you realise that the peace domain's channel divinity (heal 2d6+wis mod to friends you walk by) benefits from having beacon of hope active. That's actually a little better than a life cleric of the same level, whose channel can only heal 25 points and can't raise people above half health. Both of these at lvl 5 should easily be able to heal or give 27+ points of hp during a round of having their channel divinity active (which is a hair below average rolls for both if they can hit 3 players with their channel divinity). ![]() Peace Domain can pump out a LOT of healing if their damaged teammates are mostly within 30 feet of each other, and the twilight domain can grant a ton of temp hp every turn without burning concentration. In terms of channel divinity, I also love the new cleric subclasses because they're the only domains other than life domain with a health-related channel divinity. Those numbers are about the same as you would see from a life cleric of the same level not using beacon of hope. Now a 2nd level cure wounds is healing 20, and a 2nd level healing word cast the same turn as beacon of hope would heal 12. A lvl 5 peace cleric could use their concentration on beacon of hope, instead. However, I think the peace Domain can pull it's weight just fine as a healer in those situations. Against a lot of physical attacks like a bunch of archers or a barbarian boss, those saves won't do quite as much. Lots of people are excited in this thread about stacking that with bless for +2d4 on any saving throws, but that only covers enemies using lots of spells, breath attacks, poisons, abilities, etc. It's main feature is helping to prevent damage with better saving throws (the lvl 1 bond feature), but the cool thing is that that requires no action or concentration after you set it up. That's a big part of why I am excited about the peace cleric.
